Mission and Vision
The Skill Development Centre (SDC) at the School of Life Sciences (SLS), University of Hyderabad was established in the year 2019 with a specific mission to empower the young generations to be academia and industry-ready in the area of modern biology.

SDC, in association with SLS, internationally recognized for its excellence in teaching and research, has initiated training programs to train graduate / postgraduate students in cutting-edge areas of biology. SLS wishes to share its rich expertise with the students to empower them with the required skill set to take up demanding responsibilities in the Biotech Industry and academic establishments. The short-term and internship programs will be conducted. The SLS faculty members, known for their outstanding research contributions, will host the trainees in their research labs and provide hands-on training in a variety of modern biology tools. This enables the trainees to gain first-hand knowledge, especially working skills with sophisticated instruments frequently used in research setup and the biotech industry.
